Anita Prajapati has been serving as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Institute of Engineering (IOE) for the past six years. Alongside her teaching responsibilities, she also coordinates the energy systems modelling unit at the center for energy studies (CES) at Institute of Engineering. Her academic and professional work primarily focuses on energy systems analysis, energy planning, and sustainable development. Over the years, she has been actively involved in several high-impact national and regional energy-related projects. Archana Poudel, a civil engineer currently working at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Nepal. Since September 2022, she has been serving as an engineer in the ministry and is presently posted in the development assistance coordination and quality section. Her key responsibilities include coordinating with various departments under the ministry as well as with other government ministries to ensure the effective implementation of development partner-assisted infrastructure projects. He possesses extensive expertise in hydropower planning, design, hydrological analysis, energy simulation, optimization, and project development. During his tenure at NEA, he has contributed to several major hydropower projects, including the Upper Arun Hydroelectric Project (1061 MW), Ikhuwa Khola Hydropower Project (40 MW), Chainpur Seti Hydroelectric Project (210 MW), Andhikhola Storage Project (180 MW), and Kulekhani–Sisneri Pumped Storage Project (100 MW). He began his professional career in 2016 as a Civil Engineer with a private consulting firm following his graduation. Balendra Chettry began his career with the Kaligandaki-A Hydropower Project (144 MW), laying a strong foundation in the hydropower sector. Over the years, he has contributed to numerous hydropower projects across Nepal, specializing in project feasibility studies, detailed project reporting, mechanical design, and construction supervision. His expertise extends internationally, having served as a technical expert in Afghanistan, where he provided on-the-job training to operational personnel. Balendra is also an entrepreneur and leader in the field. He is the Chairman of Nirvana Tech Pvt. Ltd; a company focused on the design and construction supervision of small hydropower projects in Nepal. More recently, he founded Power Flow Solution, assembling a team of engineers dedicated to the operation and maintenance of existing hydropower plants across the country.

Bashanta Dhoj Shrestha is Director in Nepal Electricity Authority. He has more than 20 years experience in Hydropower Design and Development, Project Management and Contract Management. He currently serves as the CEO and Project Director for Dudhkoshi Jalvidyut Company, a subsidiary of Nepal Electricity Authority., tasked with developing the Dudhkoshi Storage Hydroelectric Project (670 MW). In this leadership role, he oversees the finalization of the Project's detailed engineering design, Environemntal and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) study and comprehensive risk/impact assessment in compliance with international guidelines and policies of multilateral development banks (ADB, WB, EIB, AIIB). Bimal Gurung started his professional career as a civil engineer (Cost Engineer) back in 1997 from the construction of Kali Gandaki, Hydroelectric Project (144 MW), in Nepal, through main civil contractor impregilo spa of Italy. He also worked on the chilime hydroelectric project (22 MW) from 2000 to 2003, as a senior civil engineer. In December 2003, he joined the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), a state-owned enterprise. He worked in upper Tamakoshi hydroelectric project (456 MW) from March 2005 till December 2022 starting from project preparation to commissioning of the project in various roles.

I started my government career as a District Engineer (Chief of the District Technical Office) and later worked in various capacities under the Department of Local Infrastructure, contributing to the development of rural infrastructures including roads and bridges. Since 2017, I have been serving under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport and the Department of Roads as a Senior Divisional Engineer, involved in the planning, construction, and management of national highways and strategic roads. Since 2023, I have been serving as Deputy Project Director, overseeing major North–South highway corridors, including National Pride Projects.

Previously, as Head of Business Integration at Urja Developers Pvt. Ltd., she led investment facilitation and technical coordination for major projects. She worked closely with the IFC on blended finance structuring and ESG integration and coordinated the Mai Beni Hydropower Project’s Gold-level sustainability certification from the International Hydropower Association (IHA). Earlier, Sarita held senior roles at Bhote Koshi Power Company, Sahas Urja Limited, and Sanima Hydro and Engineering, contributing to multiple small and large-scale projects in Nepal and abroad. A licensed engineer, she has participated in international trainings on FIDIC contract management, ESG finance, and tunnel boring technologies.
