Professional Bio
Mr. Joshi is currently working as an Assistant Manager at the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and has nearly a decade of experience in the hydropower industry. He possesses extensive expertise in hydropower planning, design, hydrological analysis, energy simulation, optimization, and project development. During his tenure at NEA, he has contributed to several major hydropower projects, including the Upper Arun Hydroelectric Project (1061 MW), Ikhuwa Khola Hydropower Project (40 MW), Chainpur Seti Hydroelectric Project (210 MW), Andhikhola Storage Project (180 MW), and Kulekhani–Sisneri Pumped Storage Project (100 MW). He began his professional career in 2016 as a Civil Engineer with a private consulting firm following his graduation. His professional and research interests include dam engineering, sediment management, climate change, hydrology, and hydraulics.
