Bashanta Dhoj Shrestha is Director in Nepal Electricity Authority. He has more than 20 years experience in Hydropower Design and Development, Project Management and Contract Management. He currently serves as the CEO and Project Director for Dudhkoshi Jalvidyut Company, a subsidiary of Nepal Electricity Authority., tasked with developing the Dudhkoshi Storage Hydroelectric Project (670 MW). In this leadership role, he oversees the finalization of the Project's detailed engineering design, Environemntal and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) study and comprehensive risk/impact assessment in compliance with international guidelines and policies of multilateral development banks (ADB, WB, EIB, AIIB). Furthermore, he is actively driving the strategic efforts to secure financial closure with international development partners.
