Anita Prajapati has been serving as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Institute of Engineering (IOE) for the past six years. Alongside her teaching responsibilities, she also coordinates the energy systems modelling unit at the center for energy studies (CES) at Institute of Engineering. Her academic and professional work primarily focuses on energy systems analysis, energy planning, and sustainable development. Over the years, she has been actively involved in several high-impact national and regional energy-related projects. These include the formulation of long- term low emissions development strategies (LT-LEDS) aimed at achieving Net-Zero Emissions, contributions to the third nationally determined contribution (NDC) under the Paris Agreement, and the Provincial Energy Consumption Survey of Federal Nepal.
