Professional Bio
Zohra is a development professional with five years of experience in disaster risk reduction (DRR), governance, and public policy. She currently serves as Assistant Manager at the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), where she contributes to proactive disaster management by developing policy proposals, contributing to the revision of the National Disaster Management Plan (NDMP), and preparing scenarios for simulation and tabletop exercises. In this role, she works closely with humanitarian and development partners to strengthen collaboration and address critical gaps in preparedness and response. She has moderated several national and international conferences on resilience and DRR, including the Pakistan Expo on Disaster Risk Reduction (PEDRR 2025).
