Yeshey is presently serving as deputy executive engineer at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. She is currently a member of joint group of experts for flood management between Royal Government of Bhutan and Government of India representing her department. Her research area includes road construction improvement methods, flood management, road maintenance and construction, pavement deterioration prediction etc.
