Utkarsh Patel is an associate fellow at CSEP, New Delhi and visiting scientist at Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), Germany. His research focuses on climate change policy in developing countries, particularly India, and the related issues of climate finance. He works on integrated assessment modelling and is interested in studying the costs and role of deep decarbonization technologies in climate change mitigation.
