Ms. Akhter has been serving the Government of Bangladesh for over 14 years. She serves as deputy chief in the Physical Infrastructure Division of the Bangladesh Planning Commission, responsible for appraising, approving, and monitoring development projects under the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges. She has participated in government-managed international visits to India, Japan, South Korea, and Bhutan.
