Mr. Islam has a distinguished career spanning both banking and civil service sectors. He has served under the Ministry of Public Administration, Ministry of Land, Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, Cabinet Division, Ministry of Law, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, and the Bangladesh Planning Commission.
