Komal is currently serving as an assistant director in power system planning and appraisal division of CEA, wherein she is dealing with transmission system planning of 8 states in Northern India. She is also looking into the project reports for numerous hydro and pump storage projects. She also deals with the transmission schemes awarded through tariff-based competitive bidding and is involved in the development of key reports.
