Kinzang is an assistant engineer (civil) and has been involved in overseeing topographical surveys and mapping for hydropower studies at various levels within the department for past six years. His responsibilities included site visits, as well as the preparation of reports and maps for hydropower structures, including dam siting during the reconnaissance and pre-feasibility phases of study. Additionally, he has been conducting initial environmental and social impact studies for the reconnaissance and pre-feasibility of new hydroelectric projects in Bhutan.
