Professional Bio
Javaria is a professional engineer with over 15 years of experience in the power sector. She joined the National Grid Company of Pakistan in 2012 and currently serves as deputy manager technical in the projects department. Her career began in 2010 as a design engineer at a renowned private firm, where she was recognized for her outstanding work on a pilot transformer project that achieved 68% reduced losses compared to conventional designs. She is Pakistan's first female engineer to specialize in power transformers and played a leading role in implementing ISO 17025 lab accreditation. In her current role, she has successfully commissioned multiple 500kv and 220kv grid stations and transmission line projects. Among her recent achievements, she is leading Pakistan's first pilot project for reconductoring a 220kv transmission line using low-loss ACSR conductors.
