Ms. Tisha is a dedicated electrical engineer with over 10 years of experience in Bangladesh’s power distribution sector. She joined the Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) in 2016 and has held progressive technical and leadership roles. In 2022, she was promoted to Deputy Director (Technical) at the BREB Training Directorate, where she led technical training, curriculum development, and workforce capacity-building initiatives. In 2025, she transitioned to the PBS Monitoring and Management Operations Directorate, continuing to contribute to operational excellence and sector development. As BREB’s WePOWER Focal Point, she champions gender equality and inclusion in the energy sector. Under her leadership, BREB developed a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI)-responsive workplace framework. Recognized by the World Bank as an Energy Leader, she also led the establishment of the first daycare facility in Bangladesh’s power sector, marking a significant milestone for workplace inclusion. Ms. Tisha is an Executive Committee Member of the WePOWER Bangladesh National Chapter and is passionate about advancing women in STEM, inclusive leadership, and sustainable energy development.
