Dechen is an executive engineer working with the Department of Energy, under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. She has more than 12 years of experience working with the Royal Government of Bhutan. Currently under DoE, she is pursuing to learn about evolving technologies in the field of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. She is working towards promoting the use of clean, affordable and innovative renewable energy systems and promoting energy efficiency and conservation measures through energy efficient technologies.
