Humaira is currently serving as an Executive Engineer (power) at the Tarbela hydroelectric power station, one of Pakistan's largest and most critical power generation facilities. With over a decade of experience in the power sector, she has developed deep expertise in hydroelectric generation, plant operations, and system reliability. She began her career with WAPDA in 2011 as part of its pioneering batch of engineers, starting at the Ghazi Barotha hydropower project, where she proudly served as the only female engineer for six years. Throughout her career, she has contributed to optimizing energy output, enhancing plant efficiency, and ensuring compliance with rigorous safety and operational standards.
