Ms. Mahesha is a chartered electrical engineer with over 15 years of experience in electricity distribution. She began her career as a design engineer attached to Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB) of Sri Lanka and then joined the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB). In her early years in CEB, she was in power distribution and rural electrification projects, including initiatives funded by ADB, JICA, and AFD. Her responsibilities included technical evaluations, design reviews, procurement, environmental and social assessments, and stakeholder coordination.
