Foram Thaker is serving as a Deputy Engineer with Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Ltd. (GETCO) and brings over 20 years of professional experience. Her career encompasses diverse responsibilities across multiple domains of the power sector, including 2 years in transmission line and substation project execution and 8 years in the operation and maintenance of substations, including Gas-Insulated Substations (GIS). Currently, she is responsible for managing the Renewable Energy, Renovation, and Modernization (R&M) portfolios of the transmission network across the Saurashtra and Kutch regions of Gujarat. Prior to joining GETCO, she worked in the field of engineering education for approximately five years as a faculty member. In addition to her professional responsibilities, she has actively contributed to academia as a member of the Board of Studies for various academic institutions, supporting curriculum development and industry-academia collaboration.
