Sugata is currently serving as deputy manager at Grid Controller of India limited (formerly POSOCO). She was honored with the Grid India Power System Awards 2024 for her outstanding work on Security Constrained Unit Commitment with Energy Storage System and Demand Flexibility Constraints. She also earned a professional certificate for completing the women engineers leadership program in 2023.
