Roshni Kumari Shreshtha is a senior government official with extensive experience in public administration, industry development, gender empowerment, and disaster risk management. Over the past two decades, she has served in key leadership roles, including Section Officer at the Public Service Commission and Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Industry, and Chief Industry Officer at the Office of Cottage and Small Industry. Since 2020, she has been serving as Joint Secretary, leading the Department of Women Development and the Women Empowerment Division at the Ministry of Women, Children, and Senior Citizen. Affiliated with the Ministry of Home Affairs, she has also served as Chief District Officer in Baglung and Bhaktapur. Currently, at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA). She plays a pivotal role in policy formulation and implementation, disaster preparedness and response coordination, and strategic planning for resilience and recovery.
