Prabal Adhikari has acquired a wide range of experiences and expertise in his extensive career of around three decades in various realms of power sector like hydropower & transmission planning, hydropower generation, transmission, distribution and power trading both at domestic and cross border level. He has played significant roles as the member of various bilateral G2G committees on power sector cooperation between Nepal and the neighbouring countries - India, Bangladesh and China - in the past, he has also been responsible for accomplishing different policy-related tasks of Government of Nepal in power sector. He is currently involved in various policy dialogues for fostering cross border grid connectivity in South Asia by acknowledging nexus between energy, economy and environment. He was conferred with one of the highest civilian awards of Nepal- Suprabal Janasewa Shree, by the President of Nepal in recognition of his contribution and services to the country in energy sector.
