Chiranjib Jha is currently working with the Department of Electricity Development as a senior divisional engineer. The duties and responsibilities of the post are to promote and help independent power producers to accelerate generation, transmission and distribution projects in the country. He works for licensing of several transmission and distribution projects which are associated with power evacuation of generators, strengthening national grid and rural electrification. Moreover, he is involved in the preparation of several guideline, code, manual etc. related to the energy sector in Nepal. He has attended several national and international training programs like results-based monitoring & evaluation systems, managing for development results, technical auditors, solar and wind energy application technology for Nepal, creation and operations of power exchange, power grid planning & operations etc.
