Dr. Faria is a power sector professional with more than eight years of experience at West Zone Power Distribution Company Limited (WZPDCL), spanning field operations, planning and development and human resource capacity building. Her career was initiated in the Sales & Distribution Division, contributing to reliable power supply, emergency response and customer service. She later served in the Planning & Development Division for approximately six years, where she contributed to project planning and infrastructure development initiatives aimed at enhancing service reliability and operational efficiency. Currently, she is engaged at the WZPDC Training Institute, focusing on professional development and leadership capacity enhancement of power sector personnel in technical and operational roles, particularly young engineers and women professionals.
