Shameema Sultana started her career as an Assistant Engineer. She joined the Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (Polly Bidyut Somite Cumilla-1) as an Assistant General Manager. Her key responsibility was carrying out repair and maintenance work of lines and substations. She has done maintenance work of different types of substation equipment.
