Dawa have been working in Bhutan Power Corporation since August 2016. He started his career as a distribution engineer at remote district of Dagana in Bhutan. In 2020, he was transferred to Capital city of Bhutan, Thimphu. He has worked as head of customer services in Bhutan Power Corporation. Since 2023, he has been heading the technical section of the same division where he oversees planning of distribution infrastructure and execution. He is responsible for operation and maintenance of distribution network of the capital city.
