The SAR100 Women Energy Leaders 2.0 Capstone Week, held from 26–30 May 2025 at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, brought together 110 mid-career women energy engineers from across South Asia for a culmination of their six-month journey under the SAR100 program, now in its second consecutive year.

The week started with participants showcasing their applied learning through poster presentations on cutting-edge topics such as AI and automation in the energy sector, climate resilience, and gender mainstreaming. These presentations assessed by a panel of experts really set the tone for a stimulating week rooted in learning & collaboration. One of the highlights was the SARIC-led Australia Quiz, aimed at increasing awareness about Australia among the participants. The interactive quiz, followed by a great speed networking session encouraged engagement among participants in a fun yet productive way. A participant from Bhutan summed it up perfectly saying – “We had a great time. We still have lot more to learn about Australia, but the energy level today was through the roof. We’re really looking forward to more such sessions from SARIC
